Tim Card
Buying used cards

On the 24th of December 2008 I purchased a Tim card from Tim Horton, Duncan B.C for $100.00. on my MC card. This was a Gift for my son as he requested. When my son used his card during a Drive Through the

Server in the window stated that he did not have enough funds. This was on the 29th of January 2009.We ran the card throught the computer to find out the history and found that the card could not be the same card for it was purched December 12th 2007 at a totaly different store, and this card was for the amount of $35.00 a far cry from the $100.00 card I purchased. I have heard of this happening before but something has to be done about the theft of cards in theSotes and the Drive throughs... As a Mother I work hard for my money and when Christmas comes Gift cards are what the children ask for. Now I have just a card that means nothing and a angry diapointed son.
