Have you ever thought of a career in broadcasting.
You might want to think again.
There are numerous schools offering broadcast training; but
how successful are they at job placement.
I would say that the number of job openings in the broadcast
field today are limited.
A broadcast training school will probably take your money and sign you up and train you if they feel you meet the basic requirements
to land a job as an announcer.
The unfortunate part is that upon graduation you will face the
reality of a limited number of job openings and may never find a job
in that field.
There a experienced announcers today that can't find a job.
So, how much success do you think you will have without
any previous experience.
The opportunities that once were are no longer there.
Talk to a few former broadcast instructors and station managers and
they will confirm the lack of employment opportunities today.
My advise to you is to invest your money in a program where there
is a need for people in a particular career and your money will be
well spent.
