Fraudulent claims and check

I, like another victim who reported on this site, received a check from the company for 3, 820.00. This was supposed to be the luxury tax to a 38, 000.00 prize.

I called the number, and a Paul Louis answered. He said "wait till the check clears and call me back to discuss the next step. My husband then called back the next day and said "I will take this to my lawyer = is he going to be OK with this? " Paul Louis said "no problem." We called our bank and alerted them that we were depositing a "suspicious" check. They sent it to their fraud dept. They followed it.

It came back as "fraudulent" stamped by our bank and the Elsa State Bank.

It is a fraudulent scheme.
