When I inquired about the aprox cost of utilities for the rental house he told me that he could tell that i was the kind of person he would never rent to and to go live in a cardboard box because I couldn't afford his rental. I actually own my own business and currently pay 1.5x the amount of rent he was asking for his place. I'm a clean, responsible, self employed "girl-next-door" type. Never been late on any sort of payment. I've owned my own business for 6 years... he's never even met me, this was over email that he called me trash :( I have never even had anyone bother to get me to fill out a rental application because you can tell how squeeky clean I am!
