I received a job offer via email for a position called, "Mystery Shopper" which arrived in my "Junk" email box. Thinking it was crap, I still opened the email which appeared to be and read fairly legitimate. Needing a part-time job, I responded to a Mr. Mark Johnson, Group Project Coordinator telling him I would only be interested if he could provide past references of clients his company has served and their phone numbers.
A few days later, on 10/17/07, I received a small manila envelope containing a check in the amount of $980.00, along with a letter "congratulating" me on being hired. In the letter, he mentions a company called, "Survey4cash" which he described as a "research program" designed for "Money Gram" corp. I immediately started laughing, for no company would risk such a large amount of money to verify their customer services! He mentioned that their survey involved Money Gram installations in local "Wal-Mart" stores!
He outlined that I would be paid $120 as my "participation fee" and that I would be charged $30 by Money Gram for cashing/wire services and that would "need to pose as a potential customer sending money to ****** a relative of yours residing in Brampton Ontario CANADA." He was helpful in informing me that an address for this so-called relative was not necessary to complete the wire transaction and that I should note "every little detail during the transaction" so I could properly fill out the enclosed survey questionnaire sheet.
I called the banks on the checks and was told that the check was "unauthorized" and fraudulent. Both banks shown on the check stated they have had other people victimized by these scammers!
These people MUST BE STOPPED!!! WE MUST BAND TOGETHER TO STOP THESE SORRY M@ ^####%@#S FROM TRICKING UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE INTO BECOMING VICTIMS AT THEIR PLOY!!!
PASS THE WORD AROUND AND POST ANY RECEIPTS YOU RECEIVE FROM THESE B@ST@@DS AND OTHERS LIKE THEM ON "consumer complaints."
THANK GOD FOR "consumer complaints"... USE THEIR SERVICES TO PROTECT YOURSELVES, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND YOUR COUNTRY! GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA... WHERE EVERYONE CITIZEN "STANDS TOGETHER" AGAINST THE WORLD!
