I applied for a loan on a credit loan web site that finds lenders for people with less thanperfect credit. They told me becuase of my credit history I needed to pay for a loan insurance policy. After finding out that some companys do require insurance policies on loans for people with credit issues I borrowed the money from a relative. 1080.00USD dollars, I sent it western union. The day I was promised the money (Thursday 9/28/06)would be in my account came with no funds in my account.
I called with no success, was being put off all day. When I finally got Angela Simmons (customer service rep) to talk to me (Friday 9/29/06) she said she would looked into the delay and get back to me. I left several messages as I was not called back. Angela finally called Monday (10/02/06) she said my loan was on hold because of some tax the US government charged because the money was coming from another country. It was 418.00 dollars. She said I had 3 options I could wire the money immediately for her to release the loan, She could hold my loan until I could get her the additional monies or I could cancel and get a refund for the life insurance. I chose option 3, she said to call her back at 2:00 PM Eastern time and she would give me the details for my refund. Once again no answer or response to messages left. Angela then called me Tuesday (10/03/06)with details of my refund. I would only get back 868.99 dollars since I broke the contract I was required to pay attorney fees of 300.0 dollars. I may be would receive refund on December 1st, Angela would try to push up the refund date.
I couldn't talk to anyone there for days. I have stressed over this, but I am fighting back.
Kelly Thorncrest and Anela Simmons are very good at what they do. I got a contract that looks legitimate. And they ask for all pertanent information which they can now probably use to screw me over even more through identity theft. Be very aware this company is a fraud. I wish I had seen this website before I too became a victim.
