Lied by blatant omission Thunder Ripoff Work at home scam Bay

I saw this ad in my local paper

"$21 an hour!! Coupon processors needed immediately!! "

So I followed the weblink and entered my email address and whatnot. This brought me to the order section. The details of the ad make you think that once you pay your 'materials', that they were going to send you coupons plus worksheets for you to configure, count and total. They said each worksheet takes approximately 45 minutes to fill out and will make you $10. A far cry from the $21 an hour they claimed, but still, with two small kids and being a student, any extra income is good. So I send my $34.97 and after about two weeks I get a stapled-together handbook telling me what I was to do next.

They give you one worksheet and you are required to photocopy it so that you may have future sheets to submit. Hoping that there would be more to come in the mial I read on. I found out that I actually have to go out in the neighbourhood, looking for coupons in the newspapers, flyers and get myself on mailing lists so that I can receive junk flyers and submit these coupons to the people. They gave ideas such as trash and recycling plants as places to find these coupons. And you only get 10% of the face value of the coupons, and they have a holdlist, of which you can not use any of those certain coupons or you will not be paid for them. Surprise, surprise, the holdlist site is down, and has been for the two months since I have gotten this package. Meaning, every one of the coupons I submit can be on the holdlist and I would never know. If you submit 50 coupons each for $2 off of something (totalling $100) you only get $10 in return. But, honestly, the majority of coupons that you will ever find are for 50 cents if you're lucky. They would really make you work to the bone to get that extra buck while working "at home", (although you are out tracking coupons all day).

Now, had I gotten this book for free I would have been fine with doing these things on my leisure time, but I paid $34.97 for it!!! When they are asking you for the money they say that it is to cover the cost of the "start-up materials" since so many people request their information and then throw it out, leading you to assume that the package they send out is quite big. Well, it isn't.

And when I got to the back of the book it states:
"We agree to allow you to return the material as long as in our opinion you did not take advantage of our company to send you your package with the full intention of returning it. Thus stated, "If you are not satisfied with the amount of money you are earning after you have completed your first TEN worksheets simply return our material and uncompleted work for a full refund." If you are not satisfied with this opportunity then we will be happy to fulfill our part when you fulfill yours."

What kind of company statement is that? I can only get my money back once I have worked for you? Do I still get the money that I made by collecting the coupons or are you just working me like a dog to only get my refund? I would love to have those questions answered, but the email address that is provided for their members is either not checked, or they don't care about employee/customer satisfaction, because I have left many emails stating that I was unhappy with the omitted information that, if it had been included, would have led me to NOT send in my cheque and be suckered.

Don't send your money to these people, unless you are willing to put in the footwork that they don't tell you about for very little money in return!!!
