I paid for ski 8 lessons (season program) for my 7 year old daughter. I wanted her to ski at the end of the season. Each lesson is just 1 hour long and there are kids in each group with very different level of previous experience. So the teachers just spend their time with the weak ones and do not pay any attention to others. And the groups are not big. Officially max number is 8 kids but usually come either 4 or 5.
Seeing no result at the end of the season I started to go there myself and teach my daughter. I tried to talk with manager on duty few times during the season and then at the end of it I came to see the principal. On any of my questions he had very weak answers like they just follow the instructions, etc.
When I pointed out that during last 2 lessons I was watching very carefully and within first 30 minutes kids didn't come down even one time he said also something about the instructions...
So my daughter can now ski the same level like we finished season 2007 when I trained her myself.
My suggest: don't bring your kids in Sentennial Park if you want them to learn how to ski. Just hire private teacher for the same money and within 3 lessons kids can do the result.
P.S. I sent my oldest son few years ago to ski school (5 days program) in Europe. After these 5 days he can easy ski from "Red" slopes. He also took class, not a private lessons. There are just difference in schools and their tasks. This one have only one task - to invite you next season to pay another money.
