North American Holliday Travel Reward Promotions Scam Letter and check are scam ripoff

I received on June 2, 2007, a letter stating that I was a winner in the North American Holliday (as spelled in letter) Travel Reward Promotions held on May 7, 2007. I was told that I won in the international third category the lump sum of $19, 800 USD. I was told in letter to contact, Trevor Decarie at phone # 403-383-1675. Enclosed with letter was a check in the amount of $1, 750.30 on a Bank One check with company name on check being, Oneok Field Services Company, P.O. Box 871, Tulsa, OK 74102. Name and address on the check are mine. Check looks legitimate but I was skeptical and did online search of first company name on check. It is a legitimate company. Then I did a search of Harris Financial Group (name which appeared at top of letter). That is where I found that others had fallen to this scam. I am writing this report so that others will not fall to this scam. I do not like to be preyed on by others. This company needs to be stopped. Good, honest, hard working people are giving this company money. Please think first before calling this number and giving out any personal information.
