I was recently contacted by someone named Sharon Nick from a company called Computer Essentials. Basically they claimed to have an online, work-at-home administrative position which pays $25/hour. I became highly suspicious when they said they would do an interview via Yahoo Messenger rather than through telephone or in person.
Rather than agree to the interview, I did some research on the Net and found that this so-called "Computer Essentials" company is actually an online scam. Fortunately I didn't provide them with any confidential information.
Here is more info on this link from another person who also narrowly avoided being scammed by them: https://www.usaconsumercomplaints.com/reports

The scammer uses the e-mail address: [email protected]. If you're ever contacted by this person, do not respond. I don't know where they operate from, but it seems like they originated in the U.S., and it looks like they're trying to spread into Canada as well, including the Toronto and GTA region.
