I received today a letter from the Secured Financial Award Inc. telling me that I was declared a winner of the sweeptakes conducted through a random computer ballot in June. Enclosed with the letter a check for 3875.00 .
There is a number to call a lady on the phone (Mrs. Rebecca Davis) expained that if I shopped at Target, Costco or Walmart I was enter in the sweeptakes, because they got the information from the use of my debit card... wow!!! that is scary...
My check is from Suntrust in Atlanta, GA. I called the bank and they told me that the check was fake.
Please do not cash the check, you will be responsible for the amount.
