Focusing on nature and its strengths of light, vivid colour and texture, Bev, a Canadian artist, sculpts oil on canvas to capture the sensual, tranquil qualities of her themes. She shares her encounters with nature through the adaptation and abstraction of her photographs to her paintings. Bev was formally trained in Fine Art at the University of Toronto, and Film and Photographic Arts at Ryerson University. She has since spent more than two decades developing a growing reputation with her unique style. Bev s artistic accomplishments have received accolades at her successful solo and group shows, corporate displays, commissions, consignments of her work at Toronto galleries, and at fundraising auctions benefiting not-for-profit organizations. Her works belong to collections in Australia, Canada, the U.K., and the U.S.A.
