NIC trucking hired me under a 2 year contract 4 months later i was called into the office and fired without notice or cause they gave me no reason or anything just your fired. the contract clearly states that they are to give written notice after the employee has completed 3 months of uninterrupted service i was there for 4 months and worked for the majority of that time not including weekends and holidays
they fired me and i was told to be out of the company housing just after Christmas in the fridgid cold when i contacted the Alberta government they started to help but due to the holidays they couldn't do anything and i was forced to leave back to the US
i have heard nothing and repeated tries to contact NIC to get my tax info and the balance of my contract i have heard nothing after doing some research on the net and finding other former employees of NIC i am not the first person i was told when they fired me that the contract means nothing and i have no rights to the balance of the contract
nic holds no respect for contracts and violates them at anytime they please the balance of the contract is $107, 256.00
i have all documents and papers including pay stubs
