Jeremy's Auto
Car's engine turbo replaced - car will not pass emissions - mechanic is a crook

I had the engine on my car go kapootz, took it to a mom and pop shop where I thought I would be treated fairly, I did not expect any discounts, but I thought I would be dealt with honestly. Well well well. They replaced the engine with a bad one that leaks oil onto the exhaust system and burn just as much through combustion. ($4500) then I was told that they needed to get a shady garage to pass the e-test if I do $450 worth of repairs towards emmissions. Having a new family and already in so deep, I had to agree. I approached them about the endless smoke, I was told it was the turbo and some strange oil pipe. So I had those changed $2500 thinking I would have a car for a few years with no problems... no change in the tailpipe smoke or the rising from engine compartment. This mechanic is a crook, an absolute rip-off, stay away, whether you drive a Saab or not, go anywhere but Jeremy's Auto on Queen street. If you do happen to go, be very persistent on being there as the repairs go on so you actually see what they do, I think they over charged me, terribly treated me, cheated me out of my money when I had trusted they would be fair or honest. Go to Canadian Tire, or any of the shops just down the street from them, even Canadian Tire would do a better job cheaper... but not Jeramy's Auto. I finally pulled the plug on my wallet and that mischievous money pit of a mechanic where you hear a lot of "Yes Sir Yes Sir" until they have your keys, then it's nothing but, "oh, this broke and that needed fixing so I replaced it with a used part..." Each time I left that place in my car, there was a feeling of having been taken by a criminal. I wish I lived in Columbia or Mexico where this sort of thing can easily be resolved.
