We are Brian & Sherry O Brien-Stevens and the Bannerstone Collie Prefix has been Registered since 1974. Prior to that for two years it was known as Heatherdene and was owned and operated by Brian and his dear departed wife Linda Williams Stevens. After the Collie World lost one of its finest ambassadors Linda to cancer Sherry who had owned more than one Bannerstone Collie since 1975 joined Brian in continuing the Bannerstone Collies Legacy. To date we have many Canadian Chs and American Chs, Best In Show winners and Best Puppy in Show Winners that we have either bred or owned, we have won Specialties in both Countries and the Collie Club of Canada National Best of Breed in both varieties as well as most of the other placements available-quite a thrilling ride to say the least. In 1998 in Virginnia we teamed with Don & Leslie Jeszewski and the Highcroft Collie Family which includes other wonderful folk who work primarily in these lines with select outcrosses to improve on virtues we treasure. It has proven to be a Very Special Part of our Lives and we so look forward to meeting up with this extended Family at the Collie Club of America National each Year in a different State. We breed for Temperment, Health, Soundness and our dogs have proven to excel in Performance and Working environments especially when used as Service Dogs or Therapy Dogs-more than one has helped autistic children which is what warms the cockles of our hearts. We treasure our dogs and the People they have brought into our lives and we always welcome them home if the need arises.
