A few references from the many satisfied clients. Dear Bob: My name is Brent Owchar and I work for Bonus Well Servicing Corp., one of the largest well servicing companies in the world. I purchased one of your windsocks for use on my rig and am writing to tell you how pleased I am with it. In the past, I have been used to replacing windsocks on a monthly basis. I have used this one now for close to six months, and see absolutely no wear and tear on it. Also, I and the rest of my crew, find it very easy to read from any location on our leases. On a safety level, it is powder coated, which eliminates the element of static electricity, and enables us to use it on our rig tanks where there is high LEL factors. For these reasons, I strongly, recommend its use to anyone, especially in the oil and gas industry. Sincerely, Brent Owchar, Rig # 88 NORTHSTART ENERGY CORPORATION DOVER PROJECT Fort McMurray. AB TO: BOB @ PRAIRIE WIND WELDING FROM-. DAVE PRATT SUBJECT: WIND INDICATORS NOTES: Bob: I thought I would drop a line to let you know that the wind indicators are working well, We have two in use and they would seem to be a more than adequate replacement to the windsocks which we formerly used, They certainly are a lot more trouble-free and a money saver in the long haul. Thank you and continued success. Dear Prairie Wind Welding We purchased some of the earlier models about one year ago and have had them in operation up to this date. We have not had any problems with them, typically we would have had to replace the cloth models by now. They work in the slightest breeze and require no maintenance. The only complaint we have heard is from our Helicopter Pilots, they would like to have a top plate added so they would be more visible from the air. (air model now available- red.) Overall we are very pleased with these windsocks and are going to purchase more of them with the upgrades that have been made. Grant Huys AEC Pipelines Sherwood Park, Alberta Burlington Resources Canada Energy Limited Bob & Merle Damberger The Steel Wind Sock is an improvement over your basic fabric wind sock for four reasons: 1) SAFETY - Once the sock is installed you don t have operators climbing ladders and building to replace weathered fabric socks. 2) RELIABILITY - The steel wind sock is more sensitive to wind direction then your standard fabric sock. The Steel Wind Sock is always in good condition and easy to read by helicopter pilots in remote areas. 3) HANDLING - There is no fading of colour and weather damage to the sock to effect the working conditions of the product. 4) COST SAVINGS - You re not replacing faded and weather damaged fabric socks every year. In N.W. Alberta, we are replacing the fabric sock with Steel Wind Sock when the fabric breaks down and needs replacement. Ron Gamroth Production Foreman N.W. Alberta Athabasca Oil Sands Pipeline Cold Lake Heavy Oil Pipeline Express Pipeline Bob Damberger Prairie Wind Welding Bob, just a brief note to let you know that to date we are happy with the wind vanes that you have manufactured and supplied to us. We are currently evaluating the effectiveness, durability and visibility of the product.
