Bridle Trail Pharmacy is a family business. Started in November of 1984 by Jennifer and Paul Chong Yen, the first location was located in a Medical Building on the South East corner of 16th Avenue and Kennedy Rd. in Markham. Surrounded by cornfields, the early days were indeed, pioneering days. Jennifer a graduate from Pharmacy since 1976, and her brother Paul, a graduate from Pharmacy since 1978, continued to expand opening another store in February of 1986 in Newmarket. As they started in 1984, a small town community oriented Pharmacy where all the customers were known, so too this small- town community oriented philosophy of doing Pharmacy was and continues to be practiced.
