THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!...
Well first off I have to say this is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. It all started a couple months ago when I decided to move from Edmonton To Calgary (300 km one way) I rented a truck form UHAUL. The cost was $346.68 for the truck; it was a 24 ft truck. Well first off the kid who rented me the truck told me on how to drive a diesel truck, good enough. I drove it off the lot. Next day when I was done loading it, I took it to get gas... NOT A DESIEL TRUCK!
You never would have been able to tell with how poorly the stupid thing drove..It even sounded like a desiel. So whatever once we got on the highway and drove a slow 75 km an hour (cause that is how fast the thing would go) we then discovered how bad the truck was. The brakes where so bad! And the gas mileage was $1.41 per km. But it was nighttime and we just wanted to get to Calgary. I also tried to call their 1-800 to tell them about it but at the time there was a 45-minute wait. So we got to Calgary I tried the number again 50-minute wait.
So I just dropped the truck off and left a note inside saying to get the truck looked at before it was rented again. So two days later I went back to Edmonton and went into the branch that I rented it from. The manager wasn't there and this girl "Lena" (9521 51 ave sw Edmonton branch) told me to call the 1-800 number for help! I drove all that way to talk to someone directly and they told me that! So I have talked to the store manager once a couple months ago and he said he would look into it... NOTHING!
I CALL EVERY WEEK AND LEAVE MESSAGES FOR HIM NOTHING! So I have had it! I called the 1-800 number again and finally got a person CHERYL! This girl yelled at me for close to an hour! She said that because I didn't wait on the phone that day to speak to someone at the 1800 there is nothing she could do! I cannot believe that they would actually expect that I wait that long! What kind of customer service is that! Just to show what kind of idiots work there the manager form the uhaul branch quit a month ago and the stupid twits would still take messages for him...
They never told me that he did not work there any longer! So after yelling with Cheryl for an hour she called a branch to see what the mileage would be for that kind of trip... 1.5-3 km per litre..Well I got less than one! alot less. But she did nothing! Then she has the gall to tell me she could send me coupons for my next uhaul move... AS IF I WILL EVER GO THROUGH THEM AGAIN. All I wanted was 70 dollars refund on the excessive gas consumption from my trip... I sure that won't break their bank!
