Our classes are small so that teachers are able to work with students individually as well as within the group. We offer four levels of instruction as well as classes designed for specific groups. You are welcome to join classes in progress at any time, space permitting. Introduction to Yoga Learn the fundamentals of yoga in this one hour class designed specifically for those completely new to yoga. Find ways to breathe and move with more ease. Gain strength and mobility in the body, clarity and calm for the mind. Beginner Focus is on breathing and moving with awareness through specific warm-ups to open the body in preparation for the yoga poses being taught. Benefits of poses and modifications for different abilities will be offered by your teachers. Each class ends with a guided relaxation practice. Yoga & Meditation An all levels yoga class that includes warm-ups, yoga poses, breathing practices, and relaxation, as well as introducing various meditation techniques. For those with a specific interest in opening the body and calming the mind. Adding meditation to a yoga practice can increase awareness, insight, and enhance the exploratory nature of yoga. All levels welcome.
