Ganges Yoga Studio is serenely nestled above the town and harbour of Ganges, Salt Spring Island, BC, and is a quiet sanctuary in the heart of downtown. The intention of the studio is to offer a meeting place of like-minded souls to explore and discover healing practices of a physical and spiritual nature. Primarily a yoga studio where the study of asanas [postures] and meditation is most likely, you will also find community-based activities like philosophy discussions, evenings of song [‘kirtan’ in Sanskrit], and mini-workshops led by guest teachers from the Island community. The studio aims to provide a safe and sacred space with its core essence based on Ahimsa [non-harming] as a fundamental aspect of learning how to respect and care for ourselves and each other.
