Dear YSC Alumni, Can you believe, Youth Singers is in our 25th season! We have developed, grown and changed through the years, however our vision, mission and core values remain constant. We know investment in youth creates countless positive memories, builds life skills, commitment, diligence and values, which contribute to successful futures. I look forward to seeing many of you again at our Homecoming Celebration Weekend May 15th & 16th, 2010. We look forward to welcoming you to our new building the Performing Arts Youth Center (Home of the Youth Singers of Calgary). May 15th s activities will include brunch, facility tours, and displays of our history, along with meeting and visiting with friends from the past. The evening will feature a Gala Dinner with a variety of entertainment, including Fashion Show, Open Mic etc. etc. We also look forward to our anniversary production of "Believe It!" at the Jubilee, which will include a number of alumni singers, at 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 16th. Prior to the show we will hold a 25th Anniversary Directors Reception. YSC Birthday Cake will follow the show, as a wonderful send off to all of our visiting alumni! We are excited to launch the newly created YSC Alumni Website to keep you well informed in regard to the May weekend. The site will be linked to the YSC website and will provide Alumni with information pertaining to Alumni news & opportunities, as well as the May Celebration Weekend in great detail. My "friends list" on Facebook is growing and although I can t begin to respond to all of you, I love reading about you and viewing current pictures of you and your friends and families.
