In 1969 our founding members raised antisera to three steroid hormones, namely testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, and estrone. As time went on they raised more antisera, and developed a few RIA kits. Test markets gave an excellent reception to those high quality products, and with such result the founders decided to form a company, which was incorporated in April 1973 under the name of Diagnostics Biochem Canada Inc. For the past 31 years, DBC has refined and expanded its products. During the 1970 s and early 1980 s , DBC initiated an aggressive research and development program, which resulted in the interest of many medical institutions in our products. During the latter 1980 s, dbc raised a second generation of antisera, to ensure our continued ability to supply the increasing customer demand.
