Optimus Ltd. provides inspection services in the following methods: RADIOGRAPHY (X-Ray and Gamma) The RT department has six exposure rooms with four fixed Constant Potential Phillips X-Ray tubes from 150 kv to 300 kv. The adjoining viewing area is equipped with two Agfa Structurix NDT Si film processors. Amersham Gamma devices in both Iridium and Cobalt are used for thicker materials upto 6" of steel. Fully equipped 4-wheel drive mobile darkrooms with portable X-Ray units are available for site / field operations. ULTRASONIC (Contact and Immersion) The UT department has a 3-axis immersion tank with 30" capacity along with Sonic Mk IV bench scopes. Portable Sonotest 230 Sitescan units are available for site / field operations. MAGNETIC PARTICLE (Stationary and Portable) The MT department has two stationary Magnaflux FWDC wet benches of 5,000 and 10,000 amps with upto 100" capacity and two demagnetizing coils upto 24" diameter capacity. Portable AC yokes are available for site / field operations. LIQUID PENETRANT (Fluorescent and Color Contrast) The PT department offers both Water Washable and Post Emulsified Fluorescent systems with sensitivity levels 1 to 4. Colour Contrast spray cans are available for site / field operations.
