The weight, loft, length, grip all have to feel right. After that it is in the hands of the player. All these specialty services being offered out there, pureing for example are scientifically legitimate. Their benefits however are highly exaggerated. The claim made is if you have a club made using this technology and it doesn t work then you know it is not the club but the player at fault. No kidding. The swing is going to control 90 % or more of your chances of success. Having clubs that are traditionally fit for length, weight, loft, grip and set make-up will control the vast majority of the rest of your chances of success and then scientific devices can help to fine tune things. Unfortunately you are asked to pay a huge price premium for something which controls a very, very small percentage of your chances of success. In my fitting sessions we will discuss where you are at and how much time you have to devote to getting better. We then go about building clubs which will give you the best chance at success within these parameters. If during a fitting session I determine your swing is beyond the point where new clubs can help you any more than your old ones I will tell you so. Unless you insist on buying for the sake of buying I do not sell for the sake of selling. I sell only top quality products from reputable club making companies at prices that are fair to both of us. I do all my own building and repairs and nothing that goes out the door is a final sale. We work together until you are happy with the result.
