I submitted my resume through Monster.ca & immediatly got a call the next afternoon.
The woman I spoke to on the phone asked if I would come in for an interview. I asked who I would be speaking with when I got there, she told me James. She asked me to bring a hard copy of my resume which stated clearly on it that I had been in high level positions & had a business degree. I thought it odd when she asked me to dress professionaly. I asked for the address, she proceeded to give it to me but then made the comment "there is no sign or anything on the building or door".
Once I was off the phone with her I wondered who this company was especially when the name on the phone showed up as Reality Enterprises not Legacy Enterprises. I called back to get more information. I asked "What do you people do exactly? " She replied "we are a marketing company" I asked "what do you market? " She replied "alot of things, right now Oil & Gas and Bottled Water." I asked what my job would entail. She said she was new and got very vague with me. She said James would answer all of my questions at the interview I had to dress professionally for.
I once again got off the phone with her. I was very curious about this company & started poking around on the internet. WOW did I find alot of useful information. I found this site and was blown away by the sheer number of complaints against Cydcor. Cydcor? It was connected to the name Reality Enterprises on one of the consumer complaints.
So once again I called back to see what the deal was. I asked POINT BLANK "are you affiliated with Cydcor? " She first corrected my pronunciation of the word "Cydcor" Then said that they were. I asked her how long she had been there for? She said the company has been there for a year. I asked again "How long have YOU been there for? " She replied 2 weeks. I asked her nicely to please cancel my interview for the following day & told her it might be a good idea if she got another job. I told her to check out canada-complaints.com .com
If it wasn't for usaconsumercomplaints.com I would be another horror story on the site. I just wanted to let everyone know what their latest name is and to stay clear.
