Lamon s Printing Incorporated was started in 1978 by Wayne Lamon as a hobby, but it soon grew too big for one person, and in 1983 Wayne hired his son Jamie. Jamie has since become the owner of Lamon ’s Printing Incorporated As the company grew, exceeding Wayne s expectations, a typesetter and graphic designer was hired and that was the start of Lamon ’s graphic art department. With a well established graphic department Wayne purchased his first Laser Engraver which was the beginning of Lamon ’s offering one of a kind personalized gifts. Wayne wanted to offer a more personalized service to local businesses so a salesperson was hired and Lamon ’s still offers this service today. With the increased clientele for both the printing and laser engraving Lamon ’s Printing accredits not only to excellent quality, service and competitive pricing but also from word of mouth referrals. The company wanted to go to a one stop shop for all of their customer ’s printing needs. Becoming members of the Promotional Product Professionals of Canada allowed Lamon ’s to offer businesses custom promotional products from across Canada and the United States. Community service also plays a big part in our company. Lamon s donates time, money and services to non-profit organizations and sponsors a Bantam hockey team. In 1999 we received the first Mayor s Award for a For-Profit Organization "For Outstanding Commitment To The Non-Profit Community". We also won the 2002 Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Award for excellence in service. We are very proud of these awards. Lamon s tries not to lose sight of small business origins. Offering fast service and quality products at reasonable prices is still the main goal. Personalized service, attention to detail, keeping equipment up to date and not being afraid to take risks has resulted in Lamon s growing from the hobby of one man to a prosperous business.
