We are traditionalists who enjoy studying the Choy Lai Fut system not only as a martial arts system per se, but also because we enjoy delving into the history and makeup of both the style and the Chinese culture. To us, it s a way of life that is healthy, positive, and constructive. The instructors, Hali Wong and Carmen Choy, have been training partners at the Wong Ha Athletic Association for many years. We pride ourselves in being fairly well rounded - in our years of training with Grandmaster Wong Ha as his disciples, we have studied numerous fist and weapon forms as well as hand to hand combat (non-tournament style). We are also one of the only all-female lion dance teams in Vancouver!
