I am an Inuit artist from Kuujjuaraapik, Quebec. I am running my own business selling my work via my website and consignment through art galleries. My work represents our people and the way of life we lived. As an artist, I am exposing our traditions and culture as once was and still is. The Inuit culture needs to be preserved, and told, as our culture is very much changing. I express through many different types of media. Some, I have querried myself such as alabaster; some I receive from my community and other Inuit communities like soapstone, muskox horn, and ivory. Other materials I use that are also most beautiful and fun to work with such as serpentine, marble, labradorite, Chinese soapstone, Brazillian Soapstone etc. are harder to get, so stone distributors are a must. I do work on commission, consignment, and wholesale can be negotiated for serious inquiries
