Niall C. Murphy, (the “Advisor ”) acts on behalf of MGI Financial Inc. ( “MGI ”) for the purpose of purchasing, redeeming and advisory services in mutual funds. He also engages in other business activities, such as life insurance sales, deposit brokering, financial planning, group benefits, tax preparation and pension consulting, but does so through a separate company or companies. These other activities are not conducted through MGI and MGI assume no responsibility for any such activity. Other activities not provided through or in connection with MGI include: Financial planning services provided by the Advisor; The sale of life insurance, segregated funds, group pensions and annuities, accident and sickness insurance and other insurance products by Monymap Financial Services Limited ( “Monymap ”). Monymap is licensed by the Insurance Council of British Columbia as a Life and Accident and Sickness Corporate Agent and the Advisor is the designated nominee for Monymap. For the sale of insurance products, Monymap acts as an agent of a number of insurance companies that are authorized to conduct insurance business under the Financial Institutions Act. Those insurance companies, not Monymap or the Advisor, provide the insurance products to the client. The insurance companies for whom the Advisor and Monymap may act are unrelated to MGI and such insurance companies have different ownership and different regulatory obligations than MGI; Tax return preparation and other tax services are provided by an H&R Block franchise owned by Ladner Tax Services Limited, a company that is controlled by the Advisor; Deposit broker services for term deposits and guaranteed investment certificates pursuant to contracts between Monymap and several financial institutions. The Advisor and/or Monymap may be paid a fee or commission that varies depending on the product(s) you decide to purchase. The Advisor will gladly explain to you the basis of any remuneration such parties receive on a particular transaction. Policy of the mutual fund dealer: It is the policy of MGI not to disclose personal financial information about you to any other party without your prior consent (unless disclosure is required by regulation or necessary in order for us to provide the service you have requested). Please note that your signature on various product documents may authorize the transfer of confidential financial information to another person or company.
