TRIBIOTECH plans to set up its own processing plant in Asia particularly for the manufacture of rice bran oil and other processed vegetable products. In this way, it will be able to assure its customers for the efficient supply of products ordered at very competitive prices.
Another key strategy of TRIBIOTECH is to establish bio-diesel manufacturing plants in Asia in joint venture with a Canadian technology provider using indigenous raw materials such as coconut oil and jethropa. The bio-diesel can be marketed locally as an additive to diesel and thus reduce Asian countries’ dependence on imported energy. The bio-diesel has vast export potential as the rest of the world increasingly shifts to renewable sources of energy. The use of biofuel is better for the environment because of reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and other particulate matter that have long contributed to poor air quality with its harmful effects on public health.
