Welcome to Agassiz Registered Kennels, home of the incredible, fun loving, hard working Australian Cattle Dogs! The Australian Cattle Dog is a breed that has been in existence for over 100 years. At Agassiz Reg. Kennels the ACD has lived with us for 15 years! Our kennel is located not far outside the town of Lindsay, Ontario just north of the small hamlet of Cambray. We live on a very special piece of property where the dogs have trails through the bush to explore, a beautiful big pond to swim and a very nice kennel building, fondly known as the "Doggy Hilton" to reside. Our house is also an integral part of our dogs lives. Our Doggy Hilton sports a very nice doggy living room for our dogs to hang out on the couch, watch television, listen to the radio and raise their puppies. The house is where they come up to relax by the fire on a cold winter night or cool down after a swim in the pond by laying around on the deck on a warm summer night. ACDs from Agassiz have been placed all over the world in homes where they work livestock, perform in obedience trials, compete in conformation shows, have fun in agility and rally obedience, work search and rescue, are registered therapy dogs and also enjoy being just plain "couch potatoes" and family members. We are a small kennel operation that is dedicated to preserving the integrity of the breed.
