We started BlueCat Networks in 2001 after surveying the market and realized that it was populated by over-priced, complex and tedious solutions.IT professionals are busy people; they have a lot more to do than sit around trying to find DNS errors or patch old kernels. Inventing a first-rate appliance that brings a simple, secure and affordable solution to the space only made sense.The bottom-line is that we were (and still are) very excited about this space.
