Atlantic University Sport is an organization responsible for governing interuniversity sport in Atlantic Canadian universities. It is the mission of Atlantic University Sport to enhance the educational experience of students in university through sport programs offered by member institutions working in partnership. Atlantic University Sport is composed of eleven member institutions from the Atlantic Provinces. Each member university must have at least one team that competes at the varsity level in an Atlantic University Sport Championship. Atlantic University Sport hosts championships in 10 different sports including basketball, cross country, football, hockey, rugby, soccer, swimming, track & field, volleyball and wrestling.
