Ashton Ridge Homes was founded by Mark and Carrie Godman. Both have been involved in the real-estate industry for a number of years. Mark Godman was a Vice-President & Partner in a regional home building company that has built hundreds of homes in the Tri-city and surrounding area. Prior to that Mark attained an Honours Business Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and accepted a position with one of the Top 5 Accounting Firms in Canada. However, after much consideration Mark decided to return to Guelph to carry on the family tradition in Home construction that his Grandfather and later Uncle began in 1932. Carrie McLean-Godman is a professional interior designer whose career began in Toronto where she worked with a prominent Interior Design firm. After also returning to her hometown of Guelph, Carrie founded Carrington and Company Interior Design. Carrie has worked on commercial and residencial projects ranging from high-rise condominiums and million dollar estates to golf course banquet halls. Mark and Carrie are a close knit family with three children, committed as much to strong family values as they are to strong company ethics.
