Jason graduated (Cum Laude) from New York Chiropractic College and holds an honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. He has completed his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, and has attained the highest certification for an Active Release Technique (ART ®) Provider. As a complement to his manual medicine and acupuncture training, Jason is also certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association NSCS-USA. Jason been involved in fitness and competitive sport-specific training since high-school. Jason believes strongly in educating clients in all aspects of health and fitness. His diverse background and skill set allow him to administer effective integrated treatment and therapy to assist in the areas of pain management, acute-injury care, post-surgical rehabilitation, functional training and rehabilitation, increasing muscle mass, improving athletic performance, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, stress management and sport-specific personal training. Personally Jason is married and has three young children. He likes to play recreational sports and compete in local road races. He plays baseball and soccer, and is assistant coach of his sons soccer team. Dr. Tara Price was born and raised in Cambridge and Waterloo Ontario. She is a graduate of W.C.I. High School. Dr. Tara began her pre-chiropractic education at the University of Western Ontario and graduated from the Kinesiology program with Honors and Distinction. She was then accepted at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario. After completing a 4 year program at CMCC, she was awarded her designation as Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) in 2003. Dr. Tara has completed 3 certifications of Active Release Technique (ART). She is a Can Fit Pro certified exercise instructor and has been active in the fitness industry for 12 years. Dr. Tara currently teaches fitness at the Goodlife Club in Waterloo. Dr. Tara is the proud mother of four little boys. She has recently returned from her final maternity leave to continue her chiropractic career with a focus on women s health (pre/post natal care), pediatric and infant care. Dr. Tara has a keen interest in helping women achieve optimal health. Her knowledge of the human body, biomechanics, fitness and experience as a mother of four support her in helping her patients achieve their health goals. Dr. Tara continues to increase her knowledge and skills through additional studies in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic care and coursework to maintain Can Fit Pro certification. Continuing education allows Dr. Tara to keep her patients informed and to provide optimal care based on current research. For children, Dr. Tara offers gentle chiropractic care to allow the body the ability to express a greater state of wellbeing and health. Dr. Tara s treatment hours are Tuesday and Thursday 1-6pm. She is currently accepting new patients.
