Apollo Driver Training is a school with a difference. In working with local Boards of Education, we invite experts from the field to address our classes. These experts include York Region Police, senior level heavy equipment mechanics and members of the Ontario Trucking Association of Ontario, Road Knight Team. Our basic driver education course consists of 27 in class hours and 10 to 12 in vehicle training hours. We train on both automatic and manual shift vehicles. We also introduce each student to all the challenges of busy city driving. This lesson takes place in downtown Toronto and each student is introduced to such aspects as U turn signals, street car rails, special lane use etc. This lesson is by far one of the most exciting for our students. We also provide each student with a thorough "Collision Scene Management" program in preparation for the eventuality of a collision. This program is presented in part by an Emergency Medical Services Trainer. All these trainers are approved WSIB, CPR and First Aid Course Providers.
