Anaconda Gold s corporate strategy is focused on growth through the astute acquisition of advanced stage mineral deposits characterized by drill-defined reserves, metallurgical data and good data reliability. Our overall objective is to be able to assess past data with the goal of determining if a project has the potential to become a mine in a short period of time. These objectives have been met with Anaconda s first two projects, both of which are being rapidly advanced towards production. At the Pine Cove project in Newfoundland, Anaconda Gold is preparing for its first gold production in the first half of 2007. Pine Cove will produce approximately 22,000 oz. of gold per year from an open pit mine. In addition to the mineable gold resources in the mine plan study, Pine Cove hosts excellent potential for the discovery of gold resources in other targets on the property thereby extending both mine operating life and improving project economics. In the Northwest Territories, Anaconda s Damoti Lake gold project has the earmarks of becoming the company s second gold mine. Drilling in 2004 was successful in confirming previous work completed in the early 1990 s by other companies. In 2006, Anaconda completed a new NI43-101 resource estimate and a preliminary Economic Assessment.
