Almont Industrial Materials Ltd. was founded in 1977 by John and Dale Tallas. The initial operation consisted of a 3,000 square foot warehouse, and three employees. By 1985, the Company had grown to 5,500 square feet and six employees. Today, there are 15,000 square feet of space in the main warehouse and a large outdoor compound along with a staff of 20 full-time and many part-time employees. We have a separate related company for catalogue sales and a separate related company for service work.
