When you hire Light and Vision you will get me, me or me!! I am the one who answers the phone, consults with the client, photographs, edits, retouches, frames, ships, dusts, and even takes out the garbage!! I am your photographer and artist for each and every image! Sure, I could hand some of this off to someone else to take on more jobs, but prefer to be the one in control from start to finish!! Quality and great service are very important to me....and some may even say I am a bit of a control freak!! I have my Dad to thank for getting me started into photography on my honeymoon over 20 years ago. I was about to invest in a new 110 camera ....shivers!! He plunked his big heavy bag full of 35mm SLR gear and sent us on our way. While photographing in Cape Breton I came to the realization I may have an eye for photography. At the time I was working in a factory and was laid off. I took this as a sign of bigger and better things to come and enroled myself into the photography program at Holland College. I obtained my formal training at Holland College back in 1992 where I received Student of the Year both years. I have earned both my CPA (Craftsman of Photographic Arts), and recently my MPA (Master of Photographic Arts) through my active membership with the Professional Photographers of Canada- Atlantic division ( PPOC Atlantic ), where I served on the Executive for 3 years, and The Professional Photographers of Canada ( PPOC ). I am also a member of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce and CFIB . I love creating special images for weddings, families, children, actors, album covers, and many businesses.
