However, since we know that every family has their own individual needs, we also have products available that will allow you to mix and match coverages to suit your own circumstances. Coverages range from basic Fire only Actual Cash Value policies to a Comprehensive Homeowners replacement cost policies. While packaged policies offer convenience, we have the ability to tailor your policy to fit your needs. Starting from a basic fire policy, we can add coverages and limits that will fit your circumstances and wishes. If a packaged policy better suits your needs, we have different packages to suit you. It ’s all about providing the products that best suit the needs of our policyholders. Examples of some of our policy types include: Fire and Extended Coverage This type of policy provide coverage for several additional perils in addition to fire. Windstorm, theft, vandalism, certain types of water damage, glass breakage are just a few of the additional perils included in this type of policy. Claims are settled on an Actual Cash Value basis, with deduction for depreciation being applied. However, there is also an option to add replacement cost coverage for the contents. Optional coverages, such as liability coverage can be added to this policy as your needs dictate. Broad Homeowners This type of package policy provides coverage on an all risk basis (with certain exclusions) on the building, and coverage for 13 named perils on the contents. Claims are settled on a replacement cost basis, for both building and contents claims. This packaged policy also includes special enhanced features, such as addition living expense coverage, automatic coverage limits for outbuildings, coverage for credit card theft, and loss of food in a food freezer due to malfunction or power outage. Liability coverage is automatically included with this policy package. Comprehesive Homeowners This type of package policy is nearly identical to the Broad Homeowners policy, with the added benefit of providing coverage on your household contents on an all risk basis (subject to certain exclusions). Liability coverage is automatically included with this policy package. Optional Personal Article Floaters Also available for any policy are Personal Article Floaters, which provide all risk coverage (subject to certain exclusions) for several types of personal property such as: Other Optional Coverages Other optional coverages available that you should consider would include Sewer Backup Coverage, watercraft coverage, and First Party Pollution coverage. Farm We offer coverage for farm and farm operations through our AGRIpac policy. This policy allows a farmer to choose the type of coverage he wishes to put in place to cover farm buildings, farm equipment, farm livestock, farm produce, and Loss of Farm Income. The farmer is free to choose which of these things he wishes to insure, and which types of perils he wishes each to be covered for.
