We welcomed our first Bichon into our home in 1996 and immediately fell in love. We appreciated how gentle she was with our children, then 1 and 3. Within a few years we became interested in breeding and added a second then a third Bichon to our family. Our girls have grown up with our dogs as their playmates. The dogs have cheerfully tolerated being dressed up, rocked in cradles, walked in strollers and visiting the kid s "beauty parlor" from which they emerged with an odd assortment of hair-do s. We have experienced first hand what wonderful family dogs these are.
