PRIVACY AND ACCESS CODE Preamble Under section 3 of the Funeral Directors and Establishments Act, the principal object of the Board is to regulate the practices of funeral directors and persons who operate funeral establishments and transfer services in accordance with the legislation in order that the public interest may be served and protected.
