Carol Brown has been with Tracon since 1987 and specializes in tariff classification, statistical research, appeals, product/tariff database management, FTA origin determination and certification. She also has general experience and knowledge in a wide variety of Customs matters such as marking rules, seizures, GST, U.S. requirements, gas tax, refunds. Carol s approaching 20 years in the trade consulting business and her advice is relied upon by clients for timely, knowledgeable and accurate problem solving. In February 2000 Evgeny Pavlenko joined Tracon as an expert in international trade policy and practice. Evgeny was a trade officer with the government of Russia for more than 20 years and the last 7 years was Deputy Trade Commissioner in the Russian Trade Mission in Ottawa, Canada. Evgeny has been instrumental in having Russia and Ukraine recognized by the Canadian government as operating as a market economy for purposes of trade regulations. Evgeny continues to work in the trade policy area assisting and advising Tracon s clients. Linda Crouch started with Tracon in 1998 and is our office manager.
