Deer Valley Development began with a vision and a purpose. In April 2000, six private shareholders began to implement their vision to utilize the natural landscape for an 18-hole golf course lined by a residential development. The golf course winds its way up and down the banks of the Wascana Creek Valley, while the various types of residential development nest atop and along the valley edge, offering a panoramic view unlike any other in the region. Sales for the first block of single family home sites began in October of 2000. The golf course opened July 2001 and the first residents moved into Deer Valley that same month. The eagerly awaited track quickly became a favourite destination for golfers in the Regina area, across the province, Western Canada and beyond. The residential development has continued to grow and populate since then and as the residents will tell you, "We can t imagine living anywhere else".
