Over 15,000 dentists have attended his courses and lectures in Canada, U.S.A., Mexico, Italy, Japan, Korea, El Salvador, Guatemala, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Hawaii. In Moscow and South America he lectured at 3-day dental implant surgical and prosthetic workshops and demonstrated actual surgical techniques during the courses. Dr. Vassos has been a featured speaker of over 35 different symposiums and was the keynote speaker for the Japanese Institute Advance Dentistry (J.I.A.D) in Osaka, Japan. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Alberta Faculty of Dentistry in 1963, and by 1969 he was working extensively with implants.
