From humble beginnings Dive Source has become the number one shop in the area largely because of the Team of Dive Professionals as well as certain fundamental goals that we continue to value today: Service: Both equipment service and customer service must be excellent and done in a timely manner.Professional service is the key to a good dive shop. Our staff is constantly upgrading their skills to serve you better and looking for ways to make you a better diver and a happy customer. Training: Scuba training and lessons should focus on quality rather than quantity. As divers we have seen a trend towards training people with an emphasis on speed and numbers rather than making good, safe divers. Our Scuba instructors are highly respected and professional. Several times each year our staff has meetings to discuss how we can make our courses and ourselves better. We are never satisfied and are always looking to improve the way we do things. We hire people to teach our courses based on their qualifications and not just the agency for which they teach.. That means we have instructors available from PADI, NAUI, TDI, SDI, etc... and are always looking for others who share our viewpoint that they must be dedicated to training quality first. Finally - If there is a scuba course you wish to take and we don t offer it, we will try to help you find someone who does (even if it is not us). Equipment: Dive gear is something that can make or break the diver and we provide a large selection of high quality scuba gear at prices that are reasonable - What good is getting certified if you can t afford the gear?. Our philosophy has been to fit each person individually and to sell the best items each of our suppliers has to offer at an affordable price. We make the effort to tell you as much as possible about the equipment and not to under or over equip you so that your gear will be suitable as your skills improve. Our rental equipment is modern, clean and serviced regularly. Knowledge: We love our reputation as the shop with answers. (And if we don t know - we will find out!) Our staff is very knowledgeable and are avid scuba divers.
