KLHCI is made up of a Board of Directors and one full time employee . Board of Directors President - Robyn McNabb Robyn was born and raised in the City of Kawartha Lakes. After receiving post-secondary education at McMaster and Queen s University, she and her husband (a local general surgeon) returned to the area to raise a family. Having worked as a registered nurse in the ER at Ross Memorial Hosptial, Robyn now spends her time at home raising two boys. Vice President - Andrew Veale Andrew has strong roots within the City of Kawartha Lakes as his mother s family was one of the original families to settle in Woodville and Eldon Township in the 1820 s. He is presently serving as President of the Woodville and District Royal Canadian Legion and is the Past President of the Woodville and District Lions Club and the Woodville Curling Club. Andrew also is an active member of the United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes. Treasurer - Rosemary McColeman Rosemary is a retired educator. Most of her years in education were spent working with the former Victoria County B.E. and the current Trillium Lakelands D.S.B. In addition to being on the KLHCI board, she is currently the President of the Ontario Early Years Centre for Haliburton, Victoria and Brock. She is committed to addressing the issue of primary health care by working with the community to successfully recruit and retain family physicians for the City of Kawartha Lakes. Secretary - Roger Sholdice Roger moved to Bobcaygeon, from the GTA, in 2003 after retiring from a 35 year career with TD Canada Trust. He has been married to Ruth for 42 years, has two married sons and three grandchilden. Roger is the chair of the Parish Nurse ministry at Christ Church, Bobcaygeon. He feels strongly that retired people should get involved, using their free time and experience to help improve social conditions. Wayne Brumwell Wayne is retired from a career in Finance & Administration.He is appointed as a representative of the Ross Memorial Hospital Board of Governors. In the past, he has volunteered on the Board of Directors for Markham Stouffville Hospital and the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation. Dr. Maria Cescon Dr. Maria Cescon has been a family physician in Woodville, Ontario since 1982 with privileges at Ross Memorial Hospital (where she served terms as Chief of Family Medicine and President of Medical Staff). Dr. Cescon has raised three children in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Barbara Kelly Barb was born and raised in Mariposa Township and resides near Oakwood. She has two children and is the proud grandmother of five grandchildren. Her interests include: her family, golfing, politics, gardening and traveling. Barb is proud to have been a past Chairperson of the KLHCI Board and continues to work towards providing family medicine for the citizens of our area. Barb is President of the Lindsay Golf & Country Club and a long standing volunteer of the Golf Association of Ontario. Max Miller Max, a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, moved to Bobcaygeon in 1990. She is the proud owner, since 2003, of one of the few remaining independent newspapers in Canada, The Promoter .
