The Otonabee River is noted for its fishing for Carp, Bass, Pickerel and Muskie, and although we do not fish, we enjoy watching others enjoying the sport. So whether you are walking on the Rotary Greenway Trail, located on the old railway bed behind the house or along the river, there is lots to see - all kinds of wild flowers and birds, ducks, turtles, and if you are lucky you may even see the beaver swimming around. We can provide you with bicycles if you would rather go for a bike ride. In winter, the Rotary Greenway Trail is kept groomed and is a great place to cross country ski.
