The Kawartha Hoshin Training Centre is pleased to offer courses in HoshinTao Chi Kung a few times each year. This course was originally created by Dr. Glenn Morris in the late 1980 s. The course included yogic type stretching, various chi kung exercises, and numerous meditations. In 2003, Tina Hohenadel and Mark Lawrence began reworking the program with Dr. Morris. The program has now been transformed into a program that is not only unique, but progressive with a natural approach to cultivating chi. The new program includes warrior yoga exercises; chi building chi kung that is based on opening and balancing each of the 7 main chakra; along with various standing, seated and moving meditations. The new program is designed for both the beginner, and the advanced practitioner with enough content and detail to keep everyone learning. If you re looking to increase your flexibility, calm your mind, and strengthen your body inside and out, the HoshinTao program may be just what you are looking for. The full HoshinTao course is broken down in 7 levels. The course is offered in both a 20 consecutive week program, or a 4 segement version which combines the 7 levels into bite size peices over a longer period of time. The HoshinTao program is also available in a distance learning format, so people can take the program anywhere in the world without an instructor.
