Dr. Ed MacMurdo - . Dr. MacMurdo, a 25 year veteran to dentistry, is originally from P.E.I. After receiving his doctorate in Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University in 1984, he was stationed with the Canadian Armed Forces in Lahr, West Germany, where he practiced dentistry on the Canadian Forces base. More recently, he had well established family practice in Maple Ridge, BC. Now he is excited to welcome you to his office here in Tecumseh. Nadia (Hygienist) - We are lucky to have Nadia on our team as our resident hygienist. Born in Southern Ontario, Nadia spent 7 years in Switzerland working in a very prestigious office offering the modern services we provide here at East Point. Nadia is extremely happy to be part of Dr. MacMurdo s team, where she is able to use her advanced skills right here in Ontario. Nadia speaks German, French, as well as English. Mirela (Dental Assistant) - Mirela joins the team with over 8 years of experience as a Level II certified Dental Assistant. She is extremely excited to join such a cohesive and dynamic new team. Mirela also brings to us the opportunity of communicating to our patients in Bosnian, Slovenian and, as she says, a little Polish. Jenny (Reception) - Jenny is a Business and Marketing graduate from St. Clair College. She has also completed her Dental Receptionist and Training course. Jenny has been in Dental Reception for 4 years now and is extremely happy with her move to a smaller, friendlier, family practice. She ll be glad to greet you and make you feel comfortable on your first, or return visit. Jade (Dental Assistant) - Our newest team member, Jade graduated in 2008 with her diploma as a Level II Dental Assistant. Living in Windsor all her life, she is happy to call East Pointe her new home here in Tecumseh. She says she is looking forward to learning even more with such a great and dynamic team. Krista (Dental Assistant) - Krista joins us recently from Calgary, where she lived for the past few years. Working as a temp in many offices out west, Krista is extremely happy to be back home in Ontario. She brings to our office much experience, and speaks Italian and English.
